Detailing a few of my interests over the years.

Apple IIe

The Apple IIe was the second computer I remember using as a child. We had a small computer lab in grade school set up with IIe's. I first learned how to type using one and the software title 'MicroType.' I was one of the fastest typers in my class! We also were able to play many of the MECC titles at school as well.

Another fond memory I have of using the IIe, was taking a LEGO class as part of Community Ed one summer. At the local Middle School, there was a lab of IIe's with LEGO Interface A boxes where we learned to create lego cars, robots, and then learn how to program movement using the computer. We learned the LOGO programming language first to move a 'turtle' around the screen to get a basic understanding of the language and the capabilities. Next we graduated to learning how to use "TC LOGO" to make our LEGO projects come to life. I remember always wanting the Interface A box to add to my computer at home, but they were incredibly expensive for the time.

I have added a few IIe's to my collection over the years that I've found or been gifted from a co-worker. Scouring E-Bay I have also been able to add TC Logo, and the LEGO Interface A box to my collection.
